There was nothing to do until Jason came back. Eddie tried doing some chores, tried to make a start at organizing some of his things. It was all too mundane, too surreal, and what he really wanted to do was just have Jason back. Eddie gave up trying after awhile of not getting anything done

Colt safe and sound at Orlando's house with Russian's watching just in case. Check!
Clothes changed so no trace pieces of Devlin were present in clothing. Check!
Essex bastered and hatred secured from surface once more. Check!
Jason sighed softly and unlocked Eddie's front door. It was good to be home, and it would be even better to shove his face into the crook of Eddie's warm throat and just breathe him in.
Jason closed the front door and locked it behind him. The house was dark and he wondered exactly where Eddie had gotten to. There were two choices really, the living room and upstairs in bed. Jason reached for the banister and lightly called to his lover.
"Yank?"

"Jason?" His voice was muted, blurry with sleep. "I'm in here."
The first inklings of longing and fear were starting to seep into him as he woke up. He wanted desperately just to see Jason, to feel him. And at the same time he was wary, the effort of not thinking about what Jason might've been doing starting to wear on him.

"Is everything...okay?" Probably not the right word to use, it wasn't the sort of thing that could be okay, but Eddie had to ask.
