One of my friends and myself were working on his old '96 Buell S1 Lightning 1200 recently. The primary goal was to get the rear brakes working, so after hunting for a rear caliper rebuild kit, it turns out Buell's $150 version of a caliper rebuild kit actually consists of... A brand new loaded caliper! I also had to get a new rear brake line,

It is the bike that should not have been. A bizarre looking motorcycle that looks vaguely like a sport bike, with an upright standard seating position, built around the monstrous engine of a Harley that's been properly tuned. Whee!
