Scammed for tickets - hug me, Eddie fans,

Nov 20, 2009 02:09

My sister bought us tickets for my birthday for the Bournemouth show, uk.

Turns out the website she bought them from has disappeared, and her emails are being bounced back to her.

I'm so sad. Has this happened to anyone else? It was Eddieizzardlive.com

It was a credit card, so she's insured for the cash - but no Eddie, BAAAAAAAAW.

Thanks for the hug x

It might be different in the UK, but surely she could dispute the purchase as well, since the goods were never received.

Oh no! That's awful...
Do check some of the classified sites and such, I have managed to get last minute tickets from people who can't go and need to sell their tickets.
I think I may have seen some available on play.com come to think of it.
