you know, i just can't get afraid anymore. it may be--is--stupid, as so many things are stupid, as it has been continually stupid to cite my journal to you. i don't know a lot of things about you, i don't know more than i do know, but i have a sense of you. i don't know; i can't even predict you, but i feel safe now. we've moved into some new realm

Last summer I jumped. And, you know, I'd never really jumped for anyone before. Not wholeheartedly. And yeah, I fell and broke my face. But I would give anything to get back those few months of bravado, of bravery, of inhibition-less-ness (I could totally see Alanis putting that word at the end of a line...) in the face of nothing to lose. It fucking hurts, but it's worth it.
