*smiles* heather dear, my little cousin goes out on 'dates' with many girls... but a lot of the time, that 'date' is indeed, 'just' a friend. my point is, although 'friends' and 'romances' do play different roles in our lives, we shouldn't let ourselves think that one is more important than the other.

tell me... would btvs be the same will only: angel and spike?
would you not miss: xander, willow, tara, giles, anya, joyce, dawn, and (to a lesser extent), faith, cordy, oz, riley, andrew, jonathan, wesley, clem, kennedy?? umm... okay, maybe not kennedy so much, but you know what i mean. =)

i really liked that wine. a lot. being able to 'enjoy' alcohol for the 'first' time is actually really nice. [thank you, dear]

there really is very little 'wrong' if you can identify something for what it is. a comfort is a comfort. which can be VERY good. the 'wrong' comes when people are expecting to find the 'meaning of life' in that bottle, or in that bag of drugs. so i know you're okay.

i'm almost scared to fully 'immerse' myself in neil. i mean, i still have to watch buffy for the 'first' time. i'm staring at 'american gods' and 'endless nights' and I KNOW that is BARELY the tip of the iceberg... i'm surrounded in creativity, but still just trying to learn how to swim in it. maybe we can help each other learn to swim?

my girlfriend, who I just got into Buffy this year, she figured that out the FIRST time she saw the episode...she's quick though and UNBELIAVABLY intelligent...she was like "I love the reference Faith makes to Dawn in Buffy's dream" and I was like "what???"...granted, I've never seen graduation day but I really honestly don't believe I would have picked that up the way she did so quickly.

hehe... i wasn't so lucky. i was just happy i got home IN TIME to catch 3x22 on the telly when it first aired. so it was rather impossible for me to figure it out, until of course 'buffy vs. dracula'.

but even so, i'll admit, i thought faith was just talking gibberish. can't blame me though... silly world keeps telling us to stop digging in that silly little tv show about vampires afterall. i think i also owe thanks to EVERYONE that kept telling me NOT to watch so much. =/

and oh yeah... when i was explaining it to my little cousin today, it did actually make ME feel rather dumb...

"so yeah, dawn... faith's in buffy's dream. making the bed. because, as faith says, 'she' is on the way, 'miles to go', 'little miss muffet counting down... from the 730' days, in two years, season 3 to season 5. damn i'm dumb." =/
