I narrowly missed burning down my new house this morning. (Moved into a lovely new-to-me house in July!)

I'm up to my knees in work and work-related writing, the most fun aspect of which is an article on the use of history in the new Battlestar Galactica series.

Oh, and I might be writing some Austen-fic in the next little while. . . .
