So let me tell you about my newest hobby. I guess some people might find it morbid or weird, but I see it as a mix of scavenger hunt, history, driving, and photography - and you get to help people. I'm sure most of you have heard of findagrave.com, where you can visit the virtual memorials/shrines of famous and ordinary people

Not weird really. When I go to a town in Oz I often visit a cemetery just to read some of the old gravestones. And often enough the cemeteries are located in places with great views. Wasted on the dead really. *g*

That's so cool! And very timely for me - on the way back from Canada we were able to stop in Vermont and track down some graves of ancestors thanks to information I'd found online.

That's freakin awesome. If i didn't live in stupid NYC where you get trapped and can't leave, i would totally sign up.

On the other hand, i do live a block from a huge cemetery...
