One Month Down. The Rest of My Life to Go.

So I stopped smoking on New Years. It was my major New Years resolution; I've made it a whole month without a cigarette. I have had four drags of a smoke, but that was, seriously, like 1/3. It was, mainly, to assuage the heinous withdrawal ( Read more... )

I'm at 3 weeks essentially vegan. Positive life changes rule :)

Congrats on your three weeks of veganism! Positive life changes do in fact rule. :D

But mine comes with a downside:

I can't stop eating. SIGH! I think I've put on at least five lbs this month. February is to become the month of better eating and exercising, though. My roommate got a job so we can uptick our diets respectively. I can afford to buy fruits and raw veggies again. That helped my diet tremendously.

Fruits, veggies and whole grains make a huge difference. And you can definately lose weight after you've transitioned from smoking, so try not to let it bother you.
