Can anyone explain the concept of the moving trailers to me? The ones with the Selecao emblem on top?

I think that each trailer contained the individual juiz for each Selecao, so when it was destroyed that was it for the phone's power.

Rather than an individual Juiz, I think those are the phones' individual SERVERS.

well each Juiz is contained inside of each server I believe, unless there is someone flesh and blood behind the scenes?

I was honestly kind of disappointed.
I was expecting more, I guess.
Not much really happened, IMO.

It was kinda...the pacing was sort of off? The beginning sort of dragged, and I don't know how to take the revelation that players who are eliminated aren't necessarily killed. Makes you wonder if Kondo's really dead. No. 6 was just bizarre. Why the heck is he a Seleçao? Even Juiz thought he was retarded.

Also, the opening song was terrible.

Edit - OH, AND! What was with Mononobe talking to the previous PM?

Totally agree with you on the opening song. We go from Oasis to that mess? Woof, Production IG.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Mononobe was talking to the previous (supposedly dead?) PM.

Also yeeeeah, the song was pretty awful. I liked the images that went along with it but the song was just... no.

No, he resigned, didn't he? The PM who was dying was the one Juiz was setting up as Akira's illegitimate father.

I agree with most of you.
It wasn't that great :(

A 24-episode series would've been much better, imo.
The only thing I enjoyed from the movie was the Sakira moments ♥

I enjoyed it for what it was. I knew this movie would just set things up and leave the real conclusions for Paradise Lost, so I wasn't expecting to like it much. But I was happy to see the cast reunited after so many months of waiting, and there were just enough adorable Saki/Akira moments to make me smile.

But was anyone else as annoyed as I was over how Takizawa was able to hold a full conversation in JAPANESE to an AMERICAN TAXI DRIVER (who clearly only spoke English)? And I'm pretty sure anyone who's ridden in as many NYC yellow cabs as I have was absolutely positive that Saki's bag would be LONG GONE by the time they went back to the garage. Or at least anything of value in it. But pretty much every scene involving the taxi made me go >:|

I KNOW!! I kept giggling inanely throughout the entire garage scene because of how unrealistic it all was. Personally, I think Shiratori had a hand in making sure Saki's bag was where she could get it.

As for movie itself, I wasn't completely let down. Yes, it dragged, but No. 6's dialogue with Juiz it one of the best parts of the movie for me. That and the sakira moments 'cause, seriously, they're freakin' adorable. And I pretty much squealed in utter fangirl-ish delight when I heard that the Eden crew was moving their HQ back to their old club room. The prospects of seeing Kasuga hiding in his desk again makes it all the more difficult to wait for the next movie.

Anyhoo, here's hoping that Paradise Lost picks up the slack and knocks our socks off.

That's a good way to think of it (re: Shiratori), but she could have gotten Juiz to get it back to her in some way without needing Akira's help! Though I guess if she didn't actually have the cab's information, it might have been impossible at that point. I just don't know why Saki has such a terrible habit of losing all her important things when she comes to America! Girl, you need to start gluing your passport to your hip, because this needs to stop. You're giving me a heart attack. D:
