Date/Time: May 14th. Right after Spring's birth-log, sometime after Crimson's entry, too.
Location: Hatchery.
Rating: PG? I think Bell will behave.
Summary: Bell adopts all puppies everywhere in the Sphere. Today, he's adopting one for Gai. Or he's trying to (and probably coming off as a creeper). Puppy's cute, youthful, and goes by the name Spring.

Even if Guard duties rarely involved much more than standing, well, guard and observing and standing and reading...it was still a relief to get off work. Bell had just finished his write-up for the day (he hated to take home work; he wasn't a student, after all), noting in concise detail just how boring it was and making sure that the wording was appropriately dry and to-the-point so that Lin couldn't complain too much more than usual that he had somehow injected it with his usual perverse thoughts.
He stopped outside the hatchery, pulling out his journal to check for any new messages posted. A few minutes later, Bell spotted a familiar dark, bowl-shaped haircut exiting the Hatchery. Wait a second... Slowly he began to follow casually behind. It was Lotus. It had to be. He recognized the eyes, even if he only saw them for a brief moment, even if the kid was now older, taller, a little more filled in. Lotus had to be...fifteen? Sixteen? Seven's age, or close about. Somehow, he had to re-introduce the kid to Gai.
Bell tapped the kid on the shoulder and smiled, trying to seem nice. He always seemed to get off on the wrong foot with the kid; might as well try harder. "Hello," he said. "And what is your name?"
