July Events Plotting Post

Our July Events are now up and available for your perusal!
In regards to our Fourth Wall Event. This one is a little different from most Fourth Walls, and so we have prepared a FAQ so that you will know what's what:
As you all may have noticed, this month, Edensphere is having a 4th wall event! However, this event works differently than the way other games have done it; only current and former players are allowed to participate in this event. Current players are allowed to bring in both dropped and new characters, and former players are restricted to bringing back their dropped characters. This is the opportunity for you to bring in characters you had always wanted to play in Edensphere, if only for a short period of time.
All characters will simply pop randomly into the Sphere, either without any memories at all or with memories of their previous stay. The mods will be setting up logs in the log community for open play. For your convenience, we’ve set up a FAQ that we hope will answer all your questions.

- One of our former players isn’t planning on bringing back a character I really want to play with! Can someone pick him up with his previous Sphere memories intact?
Sorry, but out of consideration to our former players, this will not be an option. You may, however, bring in that character without any memories at all. - Can I write a birth dream for my new characters to remember?
Yes, you may! Because these characters will only be in play for a short amount of time, however, it is in no way compulsory. - Can I play a double of a character that’s already in the Sphere?
Yes you may, but only with prior permission from the mun that’s already in game.
How do these new characters respond to hearing too much about their world?
In the same way as regular characters do: they will gain information headaches, become weak and eventually disappear. - Can these characters pop up anywhere in the Sphere?
No, they will only appear in the first three floors. - Can I bring in new characters and play them with my already existing characters?
No, you may not. Some playercest, of course, is permitted, but we would discourage from using this event only to interact with your own characters. - I have friends outside of the game that I want to bring in. Can I do that?
Unless they are former members of the game, no, you cannot. - Can former members bring in new characters of their own?
No, that is a feature of the event that is restricted to current players. - Can I bring in an OC?
Sorry, but we’re restricting everyone to canon characters only for this event. - How about AUs?
Again, we are restricting everyone to canon characters only. - Where will these characters stay?
This is up to you. Depending on the other characters, they may stay in temporary housing, out in the park, or in the case of a few generous citizens, in others’ homes. - How many new characters can I bring in?
There’s no limit as of right now, but we would like to ask that you restrict it to however many characters you can handle at a time. - I’m bored of playing this character. Does he have to stay for the entire event?
Nope! Just as you would if you were to drop a character, he will simply disappear. - So... what will my character be wearing?
New characters will be clothed in their canon garb, but returning characters will wear whatever it was they wore during their time in Edensphere. - Will the visitors be able to make journal posts?
Yes! All visiting characters will find themselves mysteriously in the possession of a journal. All non-member journals can use npc_4th_wall to ensure their posts will show up on players' friendslists, then simply use their character journal to reply to any comments. (We will be creating a sign up page for access to the npc_4th_wall password, simply put your name down and the mods will PM it to you.) For current players, you may find its password in the same page as NPC-kun's password.
We would like to request that everyone add npc_4th_wall to their friend's list at this time.
