Summary: Cecdan arrives in Edensphere, and Fugue is there to greet her.

He'd been about to write something in his journal back then, when those strange noises started up in the tree, but then that mysterious journal entry came up warning about some sort of invasion. Well, he really hated invasions, but they were quick to move. Bastet was incredibly efficient--as to be expected from captain of the guard, yes? And the evacuation moved along well enough for certain.
Something about this situation seemed so familiar, but he didn't quite remember it all. Somewhere inside of him, he was certain it always happened, especially around these times as the spring crept over Edensphere. He was flipping through the journal--he hadn't really written very much, has he? The last time he'd said anything was to open up guard positions...
So he readied his pencil and lay back on one of those luxurious adjustable beds and was about to write when he heard one of the cocoons around him open up. Granted, he'd heard it wriggling, but he didn't think anyone would hatch. After all, it certainly had been a while since the last were born--a couple months now, wasn't it?
Instead, he placed the journal aside, and called for one of the nearby guards to check the cocoon while he began collecting the provisions. Hopefully it was someone cute -preferably a female- and once he had the items ready, he fixed his long black hair before turning his attention to the guard and their newborn.
