Summary: Dani has reported Lucy missing and Aurora is on a rampage to find her. Jack has followed Aurora trying to calm the man down, but since his individual efforts don't seem to be working, he's called in the cavalry.
------
Jack had a pair of skis strapped on and a coat stolen from the lodge wrapped around him. But he was still freezing, it was pretty cold. The crisp snow that blanketed the ground as far as you could see was radiating sheer cold, as were the walls of ice Jack was currently standing between, and the man wasn't too keen on all of that.
But Aurora was family, and you didn't leave them alone in a crisis, some instinct told him that. Some deeper, darker instinct told him that Aurora was not really family and it would be perfectly fine to kill ditch the guy to his search, but Jack ignored that. You looked out for your brothers, it was just was you did.
At the moment they were at the ice palace hotel thing, Aurora was stalking down the halls checking room after room thoroughly, trying to locate his friend, that girl he'd mentioned when Jack asked what he was doing. Lucy or Lucky or whatever her name was. Jack, for his part, trailed along behind on the skis, too cold to bother taking them off and fantasizing about the warm fire at the ski lodge. He'd written in his journal, requesting help in dealing with the driven man, and he hoped help came soon before he had to tackle his brother and sit on him. His mood wasn't really improved by the magnificent and glorious butterfly that had taken to following him since that morning, either. The thing creeped him out, the voice it spoke with and the words it used just made him feel filthy, things like calling Jack arousing, and beautiful. He was glad the cold made the insect less talkative, though it meant the butterfly was now nestled in the hood of his jacket, which just gave him weird chills.
"Aurora." Jack sighed, bringing his hands before his face and blowing on them, chaffing them for warmth. "You need to give it a rest."
