Summary: Another open tea-shop log. Kurayami goes to work, entirely mostly more or less undaunted by her new outfit.

Great. Just great. Kurayami shut her journal harder than was strictly necessary and struggled to her feet, managing not to kneel on the pointless dangling strips of cloth attached to her shorts this time. Stalking to the door of her apartment, she paused and resettled herself, smoothing down her feathers and shaking her hair out of her eyes.
She was not going to let the Tree get to her. She was past that. She was doing her best, now, and watching for an opening.
Lifting her chin, she strode out the door and down the branch of the Tree, refusing to glance uneasily to the right or the left...
Twenty minutes later, she shut--not slammed--the teashop door carefully behind her, wondering as she quietly seethed her way between the tables if an apron would even stay on over this getup.
