Summary: Kaname arrives in Edensphere, and an 'old man' is there to greet her.

Fugue was dressed in his favorite 'old man' disguise. Nothing beat that long white beard that covered most of his face... or that stupid mustache. Or long and heavy black robes for that matter. Because for some weird reason, he felt incredibly comfortable wearing something so ridiculous.
Thankfully there were enough guards around and about to prevent the space invaders from coming into The Hall--it would be terrible for someone to just have been born and suddenly get hit by one of the shots fire by those video game aliens. Especially if the newborn had an allergic reaction and sudden outbreak of rashes? No, that wouldn't do any good at all.
He was tapping his foot in perfect time with the stupid blipping sound of aliens marching down from the heavens with nothing in particular. Usually he would do so like the rhythm of a timeless, ticking clock, but the video game sound effects were far too distracting. Sometimes Fugue would be straining too hard to hear wriggling or hatching, and he'd leap up to see if there were any newborns... only to find none. But at least it wasn't all in vain--he'd at least be greeting someone today.
