I had a client meeting up in Cleveland today as well as a baby shower.  Randy had Ellie all day (they had a very good time hanging out) and I got home at 6.  Randy seemed off, I told him he seemed upset.  He told me that he had some bad news.  Dave, his best friend and the best man in our wedding, has cancer.  I literally couldn't process what he

Ugh. That's so awful. I'm so sorry. "Hopefully" it's one of the more treatable lymphomas (I knew a couple of people who successfully fought hodgkin's when we were in HS and college). I'll definitely be praying for and thinking of you and your friend and his family.

I hope Ellie is doing well. It's hard to believe we're coming up on September again!
