Watching Luther now ... this Alice character of Ruth Wilson's is QUITE the departure from the Jane Eyre I so loved her in. But that's good acting. I just love her. I'm already hooked on this show. Also, PAUL MCGANN is in here!!  I had forgotten!  And Steven Mackintosh, too! An Our Mutual Friend reunion. :)

Anyway, that is all.

I've only been through the first episode myself but the series looks pretty good.

it is! although, some of the murderers are kinda squicky. it's kinda hard to watch sometimes. reminds me in that way of 'wire in the blood'.

I haven't seen Jane Eyre, but I'm planning to, possibly sometime during the summer, if I don't suddenly get a job and find my free time limited *laughs*

But yeah, Luthor is great, and Ruth Wilson is brilliant in it. I adore her character, it's just so odd and complicated and yeah. ^^ Only seen the first season, but I reckon the second will hopefully air here aswell (sometimes tv here only air one season of a show and then just drop it T_T They did it with DW, and they did it with Being Human, which are the ones that bugged me the most at the time - kind of glad for it now though, since it means the imports will still eb available to me here, and I can watch almost!live ^^), hopefully not long after it's aired over there. :)

bwaha! you betta watch 'jane eyre'!! i love the ruth wilson/toby stephens version! i'm dying to see the new theatre version, but i'm afraid i may have to wait for a while (til dvd)! *sad panda*

her character is sometimes infuriating, but you still find yourself drawn to her which is totally weird!! i've seen about the 1st 3 eps now...can't wait to finish series 1. that sucks that your telly drops the next following series! i hope you get all your shows!
