Description: Sulu finds out that Kirk drove Uhura home after the party and confronts him.

Kirk answered the door with a grunt, expecting a mailman or maybe, just maybe, Principal Pike at his door. For some reason, his mother seemed keen on inviting the principal at any particular time -- Kirk was fairly certain it was simply to punish him.

Hikaru Sulu, however. That was a surprise. Kirk probably looked as confused as he felt, wrinkling his nose slightly as he closed the door behind him.

"What do you want?"

The disgusted, annoyed look was nothing new for Hikaru to have sent his way, so ignored it the best he could. He had other things to address.

"Cool your jets, I just need to ask you a few questions."

Sighing, he shoved his hands into his pants pockets before actually meeting Jim's eyes--something he would rather not do, ever.

"You took Nyota home after the party, right?"

Kirk leaned back against the door, deciding it was a perfect time to take out one of the cigarettes from his pocket and light it up, not quite worried that Hikaru was right there in front of him.

"Shoot." He said around a mouthful of smoke, inhaling slowly. "Yeah. I did."

An eyebrow arched as he stared at Hikaru, almost daring him to say something about it.

"You left her there."

Right. He had done that, and it was regretting it entirely. It had been a quick decision and now it was busy at work making things difficult. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair before continuing.

"I know I did. I asked someone to tell her. That's not why I'm here."
