Pike answered the door, somewhat bleary eyed. He was out late the night before thanks to the dance and the accompanying street drama.

The young woman on the other side of the door was a bit of a surprise the fact that she came bearing pie, even more so, "Hello."

Smiling at him, Jeanne-Marie held out the pie for him.

"Good morning Christopher. You must have had a lot to deal with last night, so I thought I would bake you a pie."

He'd be interested to find out how this made sense, but he wasn't one to refuse pie or a pretty girl. Pike took the pie,

"You're welcome to come in, if you'd like."

"Merci," She said with the same smile firm on her lips, stepping inside and turning around to look at him. "Where should I put this?"
