Though I am weary of getting too far entrenched in the instant-information world (twitter, owning an iphone, etc) I agree that we are lucky have lived through the dawn of the era (i'm sure we all remember AOL 1.0, napster). I think it's funny that I don't even feel like I can keep up with all the new trends being that I saw it all happen from day 1

Never checked twitter and probably never will, although I said the same thing about facebook and look where I am now. I just have no interest in reading what some douche has to say about eating a baloney sandwich or what everyone thinks about Kanye being a drunk asshole. Sometime interesting things pop up on there but if they are sooo great/funny I'll find out about them through other means. I'm sure a thousand years from now people will just think we were the most self obsessed douches ever and that they will be glad that most of us were wiped out by nuclear winter/global warming/a meteor hitting the earth/creating particles of antimatter in a supercollider.
