Congratulations!!!I would say it gets better, but sometimes it doesn't. If your insurance covers it, see if you can get some Zofran (or the generic). It can make the difference between functioning and not.

I will call the doc in the morning. Thanks for the tip.

I am covered in sea bands, reek of ginger from the ginger ale, ginger candy and ginger tea and can't even think about saltines. Come on, second trimester, hurry up! :)

Awwwwwww, how far along are you? Mine was the worst from 7 - 15 weeks, though I did have to take the zofran all the way through my pregnancy.

I love how people are like "you just need some ginger and some crackers and it will go away." Really, that's *all* I had to do? ;) I still can't think about ginger, and the baby is 13 months old now.

You can also try taking a little extra b6 and unisom together. I took half a unisom and half a 8mg zofran at night and b6 and half a zofran in the morning. I noticed the difference; if I didn't take the unisom I would often throw up my morning zofran before it kicked in. http://www.babycenter.com/404_are-there-safe-medications-for-morning-sickness_1366869.bc
