You know what I [now] want though? One of those pocket alphabetic decipher gadgets..tehee. I have no idea if it would work with this particular method though.

It might...I'm pretty sure they would let you choose the cipher method. There's thousands of different kinds of ciphers, but they're all based off of two different things: monoalphabetic and polyalphabetic. This cipher is polyalphabetic, and it's one of the more famous ones, so I'm pretty sure it would work. I'm reading this book called "The Code Book: The Science of Secrecy From Ancient Egypt to Quantum Cryptography" by Simon Singh and it's really interesting. I'm gonna start putting secret messages in my lj posts using anagram and cipher...haha, i'm a loser, but oh well, it'll be fun when I'm bored.
