Occupation: I've worked professionally in animation since graduating in 1996. During that time I have spanned the roles from animator to animation director, on CG, 2D, and stop-motion television series. After 23 years I found myself growing a bit jaded with the creative side of the industry, so I switched my career path to the production side of things, and as of spring 2019 joined the managerial team as production manager on Toca Life Stories.
What you post about: I post about my day-to-day life and passions, this includes (but is not limited to) my career, gardening, artwork, creative projects, and of course, my beautiful Morgan horse Scout. I like to keep it real, so I don't shelter my LJ from displaying the myriad of my fallible existence. What you read here is who you'll meet IRL.
What you are looking for in an LJ friend: I'm looking to connect with others who truly wish to get to know one another by interacting in one anothers' LJs. I am keen to connect with other equestrians, and those with a pagan or witchcraft based
( ... )
Occupation: I am a pediatrician. Finished residency in 2001, so have been doing this for 18 1/2 years. Crazy. Also am a singer, and have been in my church choir since 2010? I sing a lot. Am a farmer-we grew alfalfa and sheep, with some wheat when I was a kid. I have several horses, and ride several ties a week.
What you post about: Work, my farm, choir, B movies, question meme sometimes.
What you are looking for in an LJ friend: I like to learn about other people's lives, jobs. Like critter pics. Don't like negativity.
What you tend not to comment on: Depends on if I have something to say. Sometimes it's a :) or something.
Let's be stone-cold honest: I sometimes skim long posts. Love bullet points. Sometimes I'll keep a post open for a while so I can go back and read it when I'm not tired.
Occupation: Currently, I work in the back rooms at a bank. Previously, I worked for an attorney, for a Dollar General, for the State of Florida. I have not yet decided what I want to be when I grow up. I wanted to be a vet but science wasn't offered where I lived in Florida (True Facts), I wanted to be a writer but suffer from debilitating writer's block. I was told I should train as a psychic because I have some ability at it.
What you post about: Some life stuff, stuff about my dogs/Mom, links, sometimes fanfic, sometimes original fic, sometimes memes.
What you are looking for in an LJ friend: Wacky sense of humor generally. Love of animals helps.
What you tend not to comment on: If I don't think I have anything to offer, I won't comment.
Let's be stone-cold honest: I identify as Pagan. I am rather frivolous. I want a puppy. Or a horse. Or both. I am fascinated by other cultures and places I've never been. I will do my best to cheer you on.
Occupation: I work in the entertainment industry (animation industry, experienced in 2-D, 3-D & stop motion production)
What you post about: Anything & everything that comes to my mind, including photos of everyday life (no matter how mundane) I like all sort of things: animals, art, animation, reading, music, nature, cooking/baking, cottaging, abandoned places, garage sales/flea market hunts, antiquing, tarot cards, the unexplained/supernatural world....
What you are looking for in an LJ friend: Honesty,
What you tend not to comment on: I sometimes don't read/comment on other LJ's if I'm having a busy work week (esp if posts are super long)
Let's be stone-cold honest: I try to avoid religion/political/die-hard veganim arguments but respect if you post on those subjects.
