Chii will keep Walter safe and happy. Walter is precious to Chii.

I don't see how

That's rather... brave of you.

Walter will not hurt Chii. Walter stopped killing because Chii asked.

Walter listens to Chii.

...Chii.

[A pause, roughly a minute long.]

If the rest of Discedo doesn't appeal the case of jailing him, I want you to take him away from the center of the city. Keep him from the public eye for at least a week, until things settle down further.

Understand?

Your points all make sense, but there was already a vote on this. I'm not supporting changing a majority vote without the consent of the rest of the citizens.

I fail to see anything ever written into law that mixes politics and majority votes to law and police enforcement.

Still, if we need consent, then this option should be brought up with the rest of the citizens of Discedo.

We're working with what we have, and what we have is a majority vote that he be jailed.

There's also the concern of if he does decide to do this again, I'd rather know immediately. Even if he does break out of jail, that still gives us more warning than if people just go missing. It would take far longer to recognize an exiled murderer back in action than it would a jailbreak.

And the majority is also filled with a large amount of frightened children.

I have ways of being sure to know whether or not he restarted the sacraments in a less dangerous and more efficient manner. A jailbreak would entail injuring any guards present at the time as well as possibly allowing other individuals currently jailed to escape.

I hope that... It will never have to come to that. Even if it will stop him, for that to be the only way, its... [A pause, and then she transmits a quiet sigh.]

Thank you for thinking of the ones who would still wish to see him, Mr. Edgeworth. It's not just the bad people who would want to do that, and leaving him alone... It would only be much worse of a punishment.

...I doubt it will.

It would drive him mad, Nill. It's far more dangerous.

...You... aren't like them?

...That was a rather vague question.

Even if they do not agree, I appreciate the effort.

If it ends well, you will have your information, Miles.

I've instructed Chii to move you to the outskirts of the city with her and for the two of you to keep quiet for a while in the event that this doesn't sway anyone's opinions.

...All right.

You may wish to inform Chris Redfield of this. I loathe to have his company, but it may also be a good idea to have him with us.

I am mortal now. I am not incapable of defense, but I am not so very unkillable now.

That would be something you would have to talk to him to do, Walter.

Does anyone else know of this?

There's no guarantee that it will work, but it is a possibility.

I see .. Uhm. I- I know it's a lot to ask, but do you think I could look at it? O- or, if not, if you could test something for me.

I don't have the sword in my possession, I'm afraid.

What seems to be bothering you?
