Good wording. :) I agree that "burned to the ground" is a good way of describing it.

Question though... do we know yet that she is going to rebuild? Did I miss an email or something? I thought it was still in the air? I'd be very happy if it was true, I just didn't get that piece of info yet.

The wording on UW says, "Although it is our hope to rebuild the UW community within the near future, our wedding tools feature has been destroyed, and therefore withdrawn indefinitely. All data that was on the community has been lost and can not be retrieved".

I read that as they will rebuild but it will take a while.

I'm going to be a Negative-Nellie and say that "hope to rebuild" is no promise that it will happen. To me it sounds like avoiding the subject until the decision is made. :( I just don't want people's hopes built up and dashed. But I do hope that you are right.
