Ooh, that was good! Nice touch, making John afraid to fly. Of course Rod is smart enough to figure it out. I like the little bit about the science fair and John's grandmother, and that last line is perfect. :o)

very cool, good explorations of subtle differences, and I like John as afraid of flying. I think my favorite, though, was John arguing that he shouldn't be there, because he's not Elizabeth's friend. definitely a good take on teh characters.

Yes, that was my favorite, too. :) I'd hoped John would seem a little closer to them at the end (not that he'll be hanging out with them or, y'know, actually talking to them. More along the lines that "hey, my bosses are people, too!"). I'm glad you liked it and I'm very glad the fear of flying went over well. I wanted to explain it, but it just didn't fit in with the story so I axed it. *sigh*
