So, I read the first of the series, and then alas, it slipped off my radar. And now I've found it again, hooray!

But this is just beautiful, and I love how you've shown John's childhood and his parents, and his relationship with Rodney. Lovely.

It's okay, I kept losing parts as well. I would always be changing them so I was never sure which was the one I posted. ^_^" That's what this journal's for. All in one place so I stop losing everything.

Every time I see you've updated this series I get an insane grin on my face, that stays around for quite some time.

I can't wait to see Rodney's reaction when John shows him the box.

Do you? That's a relief, I keep thinking people are going "what? that series? wasn't it finished?" because I said it was and then....it was not. lol

I can't wait to show Rodney the box. Once I figure out what's in there (a few specific momentos and the stories for them) I'll let y'all know. :)

I'm intrigued by the thought of John's parents finally meeting Rodney. Even if they couldn't get security clearance, the secrecy of the mission and the similarities between Rodney and...well...Rodney would have to set off a realization, I'd think.

It would. And it would be hilarious. The name alone would make his mum wonder, I would think. Of course, she'd think her boy had gone and found someone to act like his Rodney and she'd be all confused but love him anyway.

John would be a total packrat in that case and would make sure the box was in the car with him when they moved. :)

Oh! And question: would you mind terribly if I used the valentine from "Love A Sky So Blue"? I've got a scene in mind and there's a valentine in it and the one from your story stole my heart.
