Thank you, Ellie, Jay (jayca_3), and John, for confirming that you read my last Xanga post, "Interview and Conditions," which was my 425th blog in LiveJournal. Hopefully the lessons I learned made many of you laugh.

As of Saturday at 3:30 pm, I have not received any news about the part-time position I applied for. When I go online, hopefully I will find out one way or the other.

I have great news about my debut mix, "Primarily Penetrant:" As soon as I can figure out how to zip it into a file that saves more than 600 Kilobytes of space, then I will happily send it out to those of you who have requested it. Thank you again, Ron, for all your help; I could not have gotten Sony Acid Pro 5.0 back online without your valuable input.

The riding lawn mower and our back basement door got fixed these past few days!

On Thursday morning, I managed to seek and obtain help from Mr. R, the helpful neighbor who managed to help me change my car tire earlier this year, in May. This time Mr. R brought his air compressor (i.e., super air pump) and ratchet in order to help me get that pesky left front tire of the mower working again (Actually, it was more like me helping Mr. R than the other way around.). It took us about 45 minutes to get the tire to stay on the wheel rim -- with the help of the ratchet. Its proper positioning then allowed the tire to accept the air and continue to inflate. After that, the rest was easy. We inflated the problem tire to its proper pressure, 14 psi. The other three tires were all low, about 5 psi apiece. We had no further difficulties inflating the other front tire to 14 psi and the back two to 10 psi each.

As for the door, the locking mechanism had been screwed up for some time. On Friday morning, with some coaching from my Papi over the phone, my Mom and I managed to unscrew all the right screws and take the entire locking system out, leaving two gaping circular holes. As soon as Mom returned with the fixed locking system, I had to reassemble it in the reverse order that we disassembled it. On Friday afternoon it took me six tries to ensure that besides being put properly together, that the key would also work to unlock and lock the door. On the sixth try, my little brother, Evan, managed to screw the final two screws while I held it all together. Upon testing it, the mechanism indeed worked as well as new.
