Surviving is not always -- is, in fact, hardly ever -- the same thing as having a really fab party with attractive people, grand food and free liquor. Which, one must admit, totally sucks. Whatever you've been going through, I hope you've had help and love and hope to pull you to the other side, even if it's happened slowly, even if it's happened the hard way. That's pretty much all we get, and sometimes it has to be enough. (Which is not to say that sometimes, as my friend A's icon says, you have to make lemonade with lemons. Sometimes you can just get pissed. *g*)
