Ok, I recommend going to the Flatiron Building (take the N,R,W to 23rd Street. You'll literally get out right at the base of it...plus there is a freestanding MAC store on the bottom of the building AND the Pro store is just down 5th Avenue...like 2 minutes away ( ... )

Great restaurant on St. Marks Place. So yummy. Looks like a dump but it's cheap and so delicous! (there's also one around Broadway that's a little bit nicer but I love St. Mark's)

My friends a photographer and she likes this camera store called B&H. I think it's on 34th next to Madison Square Gardan. Also the best shops are in Soho but not on Broadway. Go of on the side streets there are the cuteist botiques.

Hey, I'm in the MAC community and used to live in the West Village. I looove Chinatown and it's the best place to take pics with a fish eye lens because I love the way the colors distort and what not (I'm a major photog. buff too) except you gotta be careful because the vendors can get pretty anal about pics since they're selling fake stuff ( ... )

wow, thanks! i dont have a fish eye anymore, unfortunately. =( but i do have a wide angle..12mm to be exact so it should work great w/ my 35mm camera.
