Beatle night

Yesterday I went to a Beatle tribute for their 50 anniversary to the Degollado Theatre where a symphonic, a tribute band a pond some other musicians performed Beatle songs (I didn't know imagine was a Beatle song. But it isn't, or is it? I mean it was written and recorder after the beatles break up and obviously none of the beatles participated in the recording. However, I've noticed that some beatles compilation records have it among the hits... but, I don't know why... O.o

Imagine, was recorded in 1971 about a year after Paul officially broke up the beatles (with the press, I mean). It's quite confusing.

I don't know why some people think imagine is a Beatle song. If it is then Maybe I'm amazed is a Beatle song too.

Sorry, I'm a Paul fan and it annoys me that they play John solo songs and don't do it with Paul's songs as if John solo work was better than Paul's.

Oh I agree! It annoys me too! Especially because for some reason Imagine IS considered a beatles song and it isn't. Most Beatles tribute Bands play imagine in their performances! As if it was part of their history and well... it is not. Ha!.

I completely agree with you.
