I actually think I have managed to write a piece without swearing.

no, no, there is a swear word. So under a cut it goes. )

*BIGBIGHUGS* I'm glad you made good use of Dorf. ^_^ This was very well written and sad but hopeful and strong. <3

Thank you so much! I hope the sad goes away at some point, because although I know how to feel happy now, there's always an undercurrent of melancholy, and I looked at myself in the mirror the other day and realized that I was beginning to look old, and that there is a lot of sadness in my eyes. These past three months have aged me so much, brought the first few wrinkles, and the beginnings of grey in my hair. Maybe someday I'll have a sparkle in my eye again....at least that is my hope!

*BIGHUGS* The sad will go away eventually. Don't forget that it's a very valid emotion that you're feeling, and to let yourself feel it. Being sad or feeling sad is not a sin. Just remember moderation, and don't wallow in it. You're doing a wonderful job of picking up your pieces and moving forward. I am so proud of you, Allie. I don't even know how I would being coping in your shoes, though I never hope to fill them. If I'm ever in that sort of a spot, I hope I do as well as you.

Own your first wrinkles and own that greying in the hair. Those are your badges of this messy war. I know you'll find something to be your new passion in life and to bring you much joy and fulfillment. *MOREHUGS*

Awsome piece! Your imagery is so vivid, so to the point, I love that. That moon with the weight issues? And the snow for the things in life that are supposed to happen? Awesome.

Where do i vote btw.? Will you post a link?

Before I forget, here's the voting link, which I will post! Thank you for reminding me! http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/494625.html

I'm really glad you enjoyed the piece. And the imagery - I was worried that the moon with weight issues might offend some people, but honestly, the moon was bulging in this way I've only rarely seen it do! It was just that little bigger than a half moon.

Thanks so much for the nice comment!
