First Three Books of the Year and Two Misses

Jan 02, 2012 19:22

My book year always starts on Christmas Day, not New Year's Day like most people's.

So far I have read:
  1. Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson, 1995, 282 pages.
  2. Before I go to Sleep by S.J. Watson, 2011, 358 pages.
  3. The Pact by Jodi Picoult, 1998, 496 pages.

Also, I've tried to read, but not succeeded in finishing two books:

travel literature, rereads, book reviews 2012, non-starters

I just happened to see Jodi Picoult's Perfect Match on the sale rack at the library so I picked it up for a dollar. I also have her Sing You Home. I read some Dexter over the holiday and have to get going on the last Harry Potter. So much I want to read but only so much time with everything else I am involved in. I honestly don;t know how I ever worked for a living! :)
