You are so very wrong about them. They live in a world of anarchist utopia and wonder!
That said, I did have an unwritten NaNo concept called The Thirteenth Clanger set in a student flat in the Seventies and featuring an evil Clanger. It was obviously not a crap plan at all.
Clangers love you and do not take your fear personally. They understand that some people find certain rodents unnerving.
Actually, Tiny Clanger sulked for a bit but then by the end she had learned a valuable left-wing lesson and just went down the pub with the Iron Chicken instead of hunting you down.

But it does not say! It asks! And inexplicably, I have not been mobbed by enraged thirteen-year-olds angry that I have dared to steal THEIR unique look that manifests their pain!
Maybe anything but pictures of puppies counts as conceptually adult? I must look up their examples. Or else be so dull that no child could possibly get through more than a sentence. That one's probably easier, really.
Hmm. The gloom concept it is hard to tell because obviously the gloom insists upon remembering only gloom. The menstrual-cycle updates kicked in at thirteen so clearly it is a bit open to interpretation. This is all very complicated. Maybe I should do that What's My LJ Rating thing to check.

I don't know what an "adult concept" is.
