For some reason, this whole "message me to add me as a friend" thing (right under my Friends-Only sign on my journal) ISN'T WORKING. People are adding me, but not messaging, so I have to work out how I know them (or IF I know them) before I add them... Any ideas, dear flist, on how I might change things for the better?

The utter devastation... whole cities wiped out by the biggest F5 tornado in decades (or, was it, 'ever'?). All those people (and animals) left homeless (or worse), without food or water, without electricity or a way to contact anyone...

Just got a heartfelt "thankyou" note from foresthouse (Emily), a reply to my direct PayPal donation to her cause (foresthouseeyes; I donated $10 directly to Emily, because I thought it was really unfair what the hospital did - turned around after her surgery --which she needed to see-- and DEMANDED she pay before the end of the month, instead of the agreed-upon-before ( Read more... )
