Dude, I didn't even take a picture of all of the wallscrolls (Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, Naruto, Evangelion) or all of the shit they had in the kitsune exhibit. Yoko Kurama was there, Gin from Bleach was there, a Naruto t-shirt was there, and there was a Shippo plushie that actually started my conversation with the tiny otaku. Kirara was her favorite. XD
Also the store had a shit-ton of Japanese junk food, the most I've ever seen outside an anime convention. I pointed out the Pocari Sweat to the sibling to lol at the face he made and got some lovely mochi to take home.
It tasted kind of like a cream soda spiked with butterscotch syrup. Not really sure what the white layer on the top (which had sank down/gotten mixed in by the time of the photo) was made of, exactly.
I had a super-fun time. It was so fun that I am thinking that next year, for my 30th birthday (holy crap I am getting old), I want to make a Disney World trip a Thing for me and all of my friends. X3
It was spring break, so it was actually fairly crowded in places, but the lines (with the exception of the one for Fantasmic) weren't too bad, and when they were I just got fastpasses. Like all amusement parks, if you get the timing right there are no or at least shorter lines, so. :P
We really, really needed the break. And now we're back and it's like we weren't gone at all because all the stress has slammed back on in. Next talk like a pirate day we should wear them and refuse to respond to our students unless they take on a nautical dialect.
I did too. And now on Monday my break is over and I just had a breakdown over Larrythings. This is not going well for either of us. T_T I hope your stress is lessened somewhat? See, I was thinking I'd wear my Balthier costume, but I really need to get a better vest for that. All I've got is this plain leather thing. But I like the t-shirt idea. My freshman year at LSSU I went as a Jack Sparrow-esque pirate (before it was cool) and sold raffle tickets for the pep band entirely in that persona. People loved it. I sold a lot of tickets. XD
It was totally awesome to get away and just be silly for a week. The Ratigan is super-cool but I only have a cell phone pic of it. I can take another one this weekend when I'm at home for you, though. :D
Hello there, fellow Cabin Pressure fan! Have you heard Series 4 yet?
Looks like you had an amazing time. I haven't been to Disney World is so long, I forget how epic it is. XD And I love that you take such fun pictures. Awesome!!
It was really nice to get away, and of course everything was amazing, including the pain in our feet from walking around all day every day in giant parks. :P And in all of the pictures mom poses with a nice smile like "this will be a nice picture!" and meanwhile me and occasionally the middle elder sibling are like "how ridiculous can I make my face look?"
The best pictures are troll pictures! :D They seriously make me want to go to Disneyworld right now, lol. So, artistic objective of the pictures accomplished!
