If you get one degree, you can always get an after-degree in something else. And yes, getting married and having kids just because you don't know what else to do with your life is a bit stupid.
And if you're not ready to make that decision, take a year off. Save up a grand and then spend a year in Thailand. Just be thankful you don't live in Germany. They have to decide by grade four what they're doing.
And if it makes you feel any better, alot of people (including myself) have a secondary useless degree. I'll never ever use my BTh. Not unless I see the light and want to become a pastor. Or turn straight and become a pastor's wife.
I claim to know, more or less, what you're going through. So far treading water is working out just fantastically. You never -need- a formal education to land a decent-paying job, nor do you need to enter the field in which the magical little paper says you're more qualified for than those who never went to school. A very large number of jobs will pay you more simply for having a degree.
As far as life goes, what's the point of planning, compromising, and sacrifices if you don't have some bitchin' stories to tell? I much prefer not fretting about the small stuff and just kickin' back and relaxin' to wherever the path your past is bringing you. If something displeases you, change it.
Nobody else has any say in what you're supposed to do, what potential you should live up to, what future plans you need to make. Just do what you currently like to do and let the chips fall as they may.
Oh, and explain to me why I don't dislike Panic! At the Disco as much as every other online reviewer?
I don't know why I'm freaking out. My seat-of-the-pants attitude has served me well thus far. There's just this nagging at the back of my head that says things won't always just fall into place, and require some planning.
As far as Panic! at the disco: I just can't jive to it. Not my thing. I've tried and tried, but to no avail; I'll never be cool.

Not gonna happen.
