It really helps me too when I write out a plan and set goals for myself. Best of luck :) I set a goal for Valentine's Day too, I want to be 120. We can do it.

thanks hon! I know you can do it... me, i'm not so sure about. I've been doing so horribly lately, b/ping way way way too much... i started classes again and that sent my stress level rocketing and that's when i tend to get into bad b/p cycles... hopefully this marks the end of that b/c i hate it... urgh. goodluck!

What still counts as negative calorie food? I thought that whole apples were on the list, but somebody recently informed me that's a myth.

ice water burns barely any more... i love water though and drink about 120 ounces a day :)

it's foods from the Negative Calorie diet. apples are one of them; so are shrimp and crab, a most veggies, chick peas and kidney beans to name a few. My neg cal foods i usually have are a small salad with veggies and maybe a teaspoon of fat free italian (about 5 cals) but there are a bunch more. i need to get my hands on the book!

Shrimp and crab? Maybe as an overall reducing plan, but there's no way you can prepare those two foods to get a net negative calorie burn. There's just way too much protein in them.

You could, like, move to northern Alaska. Somebody was telling me recently about working in the Arctic. It's so cold that you burn up thousands more calories a day, just keeping warm. For that matter, just drinking ice water burns up a few more calories, just compensating for the body heat absorbed by the water.
