Thoughts on Livejournal...

I've been on Livejournal now for a year or so and, after seeing LJ used for many things, and misused for many things. I have come to some general conclusions about LJ and also about communication in general (much of this from personal experiences and mistakes I have made, some from other's exploits as well), so here goes

lj should be used as the owner of the journal cares for. however, there are conflicts that may come up over how it is used, and the individual must be able to accept the consequences of its use.

Tell it brother! I couldn't agree with you more. I generally don't comment in people's journals for that reason. You never know how a person is going to react and frankly, I don't need the drama. I hope all is well with you.

I'm living in Troy and teaching at NYSTI. I'm looking for another job to supplement it. That's pretty much it, but at the end of the summer I'm moving to North Carolina. Everything is pretty groovy :-D
