My sister is getting rid of a bunch of stuff, and so her bullwhip was sitting on the dining room table. I decide I want to keep it, so I take it outside to give it a few experimental cracks. The first one goes smoothly, I get a nice loud snapping sound. So I try it again, and instead of going round in a nice arc, the end of the whip hits me
