I have heard that happening to cat's paws. When we got Smudge, he had previously been an indoor cat and he had these perfect white sprays of fur coming out from between his toes (he's very fluffy and swishy and a bit camp). Then he learnt about outdoors, and they went muddy and horrible and then fell off. He grows them back when he's staying at my mum's though!

Of course, I meant "I have heard OF that happening to cat's paws". Makes it sound like American Werewolf in London or something, the horrible creaking noise as the cat grows scabby feet!
