I don't think you should feel obligated to update. Since it's your journal, you really only need to update it when you feel like documenting something. However, you do that with a paper journal, so I guess this journal isn't needed. Anyway, rambling.
As interested as I was in what you wrote, I was more interested in listening to your opinions and actually conversing with you. So, I guess the only way I'd be sad about all of this is if we didn't keep in touch.
E-mail me at skmeeb@gmail.com. I'd like to exchange addresses with you so we can write letters back and forth, or maybe talk on the phone once in a blue moon. If you don't want to, that's cool. I just think it'd be a shame to lose touch with such an awesome person. :)

Growth and moving-on are great things in a man's life. So, congratulations and have a happy time, Duncan. I've found that journals are often worthwhile in the 'seams' of our lives - and less so once the fabric becomes uniform.
Your chronicles of the transition years have touched and impressed many people - and helped them too. Have a great time at university and in the wonderful years that will unfold. And thank you for sharing that 'seam'. ~ Tom
