League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Saw the League, pretty cool. Definitely some gaps but enjoyable. The editing was a bit maddening, hard to follow some of the fight scenes as they jumped back and forth. The American character seemed out of place, like he was just thrown in there. See my full review on Alt.Gothic.

one of my housemates is playing it right now, but i'm avoiding it. the reports have been.. uh.. somewhat less than favorable.

He WAS just thrown in there. The original characters were all British, so I guess they thought they needed an American icon.

I kinda figured. I never read the comic, which is probably why I liked the movie. He just seemed so out of place, and also looked 12.
