It so does. There have been so many times I've IMed someone, and literally said something like.. "Hey, what's up..." and then proceeded to mention something I read in their livejournal, and then, bam. They either don't reply, because duh, they already know what's going on with me, MY livejournal, or they say one thing, and then it's awkward. It's like a psychic power, we know what's going on, we know everything about each other because livejournal lets the truth shine through

No, the trick is, you don't put any of the juicy stuff on lj and share that over IM.

You take that as a sign that livejournal is becoming like cocaine or some similar addictive drug.

I just write in mine now whenever I have something really to say, i.e. something has ticked me off, something I need to get off my mind, or whatever.
