As my DW was persuading DD to leave the mall, the following snippet occurred
DD: "We can't go outside yet!  Spock doesn't have his jacket on".
DW (frazzled): "Honey, Spock doesn't need a jacket.  He's a Vulcan."
DD: "MOM.  He's half human.  That's why he had to wear a jacket in the movie."
