...I don't think that even means anything but most of Tokyo is gone m-my house ;o;
Pretty much all the mech fighting that did not happen the rest of R2 was in this episode, which was a good thing! Because Geass is good at mechs, they are shiny and blow up real good. Anyway, the normal knightmares can't do anything because of Gefjun field, so the Black Knights strike.. Just, Zero says they can't do anything until they take Nunnally hostage.
(Lelouch says to himself that if Rolo can save Nunnally, he at least has served one purpose in life. Rolo says he'll find Nunnally! And kill her! Because he's all the family Lelouch needs. WOW, WHAT A SURPRISE)
So, the Black Knights are just dicking around, when Suzaku goes out with the Freya. He promises himself he won't use it, but uses it to threaten Zero to go home. Zero replies that there's no way he's going to believe anything that Suzaku says, and they fight for a bit. Soon, the other Knights of Round show and attack Zero, and Orange is in here too--I forget exactly doing what--while Zero relies on his draining shields and waits for word about Nunnally and Nina shrieks about using the Freya. He is battered by Anya's hadron cannons for a long while until she has a CCesque shock thing, and loses control (and altitude). Lelouch is confused (leading one to assume it doesn't have to do with his Geass since he didn't react (unlike when Suzaku touched CC that one time))
Meanwhile, Rolo looks for Nunnally, but she is being moved to a transport out of Tokyo. At the same time, Sayoko finds Kallen, and gives her the souped up Guren. This done, Sayoko goes off to meet up with Nunnally and Rolo, and Kallen busts out of the building in the Guren Seitan, which is like totally overpowered. In the meantime, Britannia has destroyed all the Gefjun disturbers so the normal knightmares can move again. Kallen rips through them like a hot knife through butter, coming up to Zero (who is currently being beaten up by Luciano--pretty sure Lucky destroyed his special shield) like "heya~" (There is a cute bit here with Lloyd pissed that she stole all the adaptations he did to Guren ("YOUR adaptations?" Cecile challenges) with Laksharta pissed that Lloyd changed her design) Kallen makes short work of Luciano, reporting back as Zero's bodyguard (or whatever her official title is)
Lelouch sounds quite surprised when asking if it's Kallen--did he forget she existed? :/
Gino comments that Kallen has finally chosen Kouzuki or Stadtfelt; Kallen asks if he's sad about her choice, and he says he's happy about it. They go to fight, but instead Gino goes off against Zero(?) and Kallen faces off with Suzaku. She kicks his ass, slicing through an arm and leg of Lancelot. Suzaku says her mech is just a level above his, and is like "fuck it, it's alright, I don't mind dying." BUT obviously he forgot about the Geass. The Geass didn't forget! And so since he has to LIVE, he shoots the only weapon he has left...the Freya. It looks like a giant bullet. Zero barely avoids it, and it spins off into the air and pauses for a bit.
The Britannian forces are like "hoshit" and begin to retreat; the Black Knights figure if Britannia is leaving they'd better get out of the way, too. Lelouch is like "no way, is that the giant bomb Suzaku mentioned before?" and then thinks of his sister, except the Freya is already exploding. Guilford pushes Zero out of the blast radius, entreating her to live on before getting caught in the blast himself. (The scene cuts to real Cornelia here, turning as if noticing someone calling her name...!) Cut to Sayoko and Nunnally in the transport, eyes widening in surprise as the screen whites out. The government building is completely annihilated.
Finally, all is quiet. Rolo calls in to Zero's machine, sound only. Lelouch asks if he could put Nunnally on; Rolo says he can't. He was too late to meet with the others, he explains. Nunnally's dead. "Stop lying!" Lelouch roars. "Just...for a little bit. I just want to hear her voice..." The scene cuts to an outside view of the mech, floating high above the massive crater that once was Tokyo.
