We don't dress up half bad. (Need a dinner dance, though)

Thanks!
One of the interviews we did is up on Gametrailers now. (It is boring, and thus not linked) Gamespot should have one, too. I did alright, though the Japanese guy I went with kept trying to talk over me...it's like, if you wanted to do all the translations, then you shouldn't have asked me to come in the first place... Whatever.

You won't be able to line up superearly or anything for tomorrow so just give yourself 2 hours to get there and all and you should be fine. Remember you want 海浜幕張, not plain old makuhari, where I went......oops

Aww. Well, it shouldn't be TOO bad...I hope >>
Most of the bigger booths are in a different hall so the section for online and foreign games shouldn't be too busy (comparatively)

no, it's the 京葉 line.
You can change at Minami Funabashi, or maybe somewhere else, check yahoo transit or something. (Just don't change at Tokyo--it's like a 20 minute hike to the keiyou tracks)

I assume you did the translations? If so, cool!

I also assume your employer is cool with you posting that? Maybe a little viral marketing action?

Finally, not knowing anything about current video games, can I ask what game this is going to be in? Or are you not allowed to say yet?

Oh, I didn't translate the text on the trailer (much less approve the poorly-aligned or dubiously-stated captions) but this is the game I worked on for the past two years! The game is announced and all, and on sale 20 November, so as long as we aren't giving away company secrets or anything, it's fine to talk about it. (...or do you mean the ridiculously-bad cut scene clip on youtube? That is from Infinite Undiscovery, another Square-Enix game for Xbox 360 that came out last month. The heroes look really similar, testament to the incredible originality of Japanese game design /sarcasm)
