I got terribly lost today on a detour as the road to choir practice was closed due to flooding or a downed power line or a deer stampede or something else ridiculously South Jersey-like. I was fine with deer when I lived in Illinois, but since moving to Jersey, I've learned it is us against them. And I want to WIN.

...It HAS been a while since I've written anything, much less something Hikago. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

I've been doing alright, keeping busy. Cleaning house, feeding babies, applying to jobs, joined a choir. This week we're cleaning out the basement, woo woo. Always fun. What've you been up to? The family doing alright?

It is actually legal and often encouraged to shoot deer here in Jersey... unfortunately, I don't have a gun. I'd actually rather hook up a cow catcher to my car and demolition derby any who come near... (I guess the dog could eat them if they wanted)
