Always put your preservation of your sanity first, because how do you get through life with out it?
I'm glad you didn't let them talk you into staying. I'm all for commitment, but your mind comes first.

I fully support your decision. There's a path for you - Hope Charter just wasn't the right one. Keep up with the ESL work. You'll find students that WANT to learn someday, and you'll be happy for it. *hugs*

You tried, and that's important. Keep following the ESL path. You said you wanted to work with smaller kids in the suburbs, and now you know you were dead on and have a clear goal. No diversions. You'll get there. I know you will.

And you'll get there as a stronger person who knows herself a little bit better than she maybe did before Hope Charter School. The wounds will remain, if only to remind you of what's most important to you. *hug*
