lovely and truthful :) i'm glad i read it.
i remember watching a cartoon part of the story as a child where he visits the desert.

My favorite book! Did you know that Antoine de Saint-Exupery was a pilot? Similar to this story, he also crashed his plane into the desert. I can't remember the year he crashed- but only his plane was ever found with no trace of him anywhere near.
